One project at Tanglewood was to compose three short works in three days (one piece a day). Earlier in the summer, while improvising with Steve Mackey, we composers performed an improvisation called “Three Berkshire Miniatures”. So the three miniatures I composed at Tanglewood are similarly named– –in hommage to my work with Steve Mackey! I hope you like them!

III. Duo for Trumpet and Cello
